My journey into personal training began over 25 years ago going to a local gym to try and build some muscle. Over the years that has evolved, and I now focus on health, fitness and weight loss; specialising in body transformations. I try and help others make big changes to themselves and get jaw dropping results. By achieving both Bachelors and Masters degrees and experiencing different training methods, several nutritional plans, and working with hundreds of clients I have discovered that most people want 3 things: Weight loss, muscle tone, and fitness. Some people may want to focus more on weight loss whilst other fitness but in general it all comes down to these three. To get these results I keep everything personal to each person but put all my efforts into your workouts, your diet, and your lifestyle. Once you address all these three and have the right support in place you really can’t go wrong.

Ever since I can remember I have always enjoyed a physical challenge. Training people and getting them in shape is very natural to me. I put a lot of effort and take great pride in my role as a Personal Trainer and feel very committed to my clients. I am very passionate about getting RESULTS in people. I have clients that have dropped up to 4 stone in a few months and gone from being sedentary to competing in long distance races. Such transformations really makes me feel proud which gives me great job satisfaction. Accomplishing both Masters and Bachelors degrees in Sport & Exercise science, I have the skills and knowledge to deliver a complete service. Having opened the first private personal training studio in the Bradford area over 10 years ago I feel that we have established the most effective training environment within the region.

My main interests in health and fitness are nutrition and resistance training. Both these are essential for getting you in great shape. When we work together on your goals you can be sure that your training will be effective plus I will give you full nutritional support. Achieving results within my clients gives me a lot of pleasure and is something which I am very passionate about. I want to help you reach your full potential whether it be weight loss, muscle tone, strength development, or fitness. I enjoy working with all ages and abilities and I adapt out workouts and lifestyle to your specific needs. I qualified as a personal trainer in June 2015. Since then I have worked here at Xcel Personal Training enjoying the experience of achieving results with my clients. I train regularly and like to stay in shape.

In 2014 I was diagnosed with a chronic illness which really turned my attention to health and fitness. I started taking my workouts more serious and looking at nutrition for help. I also studied Clinical Exercise Physiology at University where I gained a Masters degree. Now with all this experience and academia I have gained many tools as Personal Trainer to deliver a great service to you. I enjoy helping my clients lose inches by continually looking at the best scientific weight loss strategies and putting those into practice. I also have a keen interest in resistance training to help tone your body as the inches come off. As well as getting you physically in shape I get a lot of pleasure watching your health and well-being progress.

I have always had a passion for healthy living. As a woman I can relate to many of the issues that women have with body image, body confidence, and feeling intimidated with the whole idea of walking into a gym. Over the last 15 years I have trained and competed in triathlon events which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I have always tried to eat healthy which is also a passion of mine as I have come to learn the importance of good nutrition and how it really can change your body. Being a mother of two I have had to do a lot of juggling around to stay on top of everything which often resulted in lots of home workouts too. I often use this experience to put effective circuits together to keep my clients heart rate up and burn off that body fat. Over the last few years I've been enjoying the benefits of resistance training and seeing the positive affect it has on body tone. I like to think of myself as being able to deliver a complete package of good cardio workouts, effective circuits, and appropriate resistance training.
